Brad W.Williams combines his extensive knowledge of home renovation and diverse skillset acquired through Peace Corps service, government lobbying, and real estate management to provide an unparalleled level of service and professionalism to his Charlottesville real estate clients.
Sellers looking for an honest appraisal of their home or land’s value will benefit from Brad’s experience overseeing real estate sales, purchases, leases and renovations for the Virginia Department of Forestry. This experience coupled with his considerable forest lands expertise is another added benefit to help you determine the best course of action for your property.
Brad’s renovation experience began out of necessity. His home was destroyed by a hurricane while serving for the Peace Corps in Jamaica, and Brad’s crew milled lumber from the surrounding forest which was leveled during the storm. The 20’x 20’ clapboard house, built without electrical tools and complete with spring-fed running water, served as his residence for the remainder of his time on the island, and launched his lifelong love for building and repairs.
These days, Brad is passionate about renovating old homes. This intense interest has led to several home renovation projects over the past 20 years, which include buying, renovating and selling homes. He is currently living in (and renovating) an abandoned Keswick farmhouse built in the 1880s.
Because of Brad’s considerable background in and love of home renovation, he sees it as a great way to build equity in the right property. He enjoys helping clients see the potential in properties, and is available to help you find the perfect home, old or new. His keen insight helps with inspections, and sometimes uncovers previously undiscovered changes.
A people-oriented professional, as well as knowledgeable about real estate processes and home building, Brad is dedicated to working for you in defining your wants and needs to exceed your expectations.
